Project
Introduction

As lighting consultants, we believe that comprehending the design intentions of architects is crucial for a successful and cohesive design outcome. In this project, architect HPP has meticulously crafted a precise spatial relationship and a clear architectural rhythm. The shared design of the building atrium, the uniform division of the main facade, and the four-corner design of the building all reinforce the sense of sequence, symmetry, and the concept of collaboration and sharing.

We selected linear light to reinforce the rhythmic quality of the main facade and used uplights to draw attention to the building's corners. This lighting design enhances the architectural details and elevates the visual appeal of the building.

The atrium is the heart of the building, connecting people on different floors and serving as a central gathering space. We aimed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that conveys a sense of care and comfort for those who use it. To achieve this, we selected a warm color temperature for the lighting. The architect's modern and precise design language is reflected in the atrium's shape, featuring geometric "boxes" on the vertical space. The unique sky-pointing ceiling design is an important architectural feature that we emphasized by integrating small spotlights at the base of the ceiling screens to highlight it.

Another visual focal point is the main staircase. The integration of handrail lighting outlines and highlights its shape, enhancing the staircase's form and details and making it not only functional but also visually stunning.

The overall lighting design in the atrium is a combination of lighting treatments. We also recommended incorporating decorative floor lamps to enhance the light environment and increase the comfort in the space. The seating area along the atrium is emphasized with accent lighting, focusing on the boundaries of the atrium.
